Business/Reporting Analyst (Cognos/Data Warehouse)

The Business/Reporting Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to optimize the reporting capabilities of the information systems for the Company.

Working closely with departments, the Business/Reporting Analyst will assist the functional analysts in their use of Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) tools by providing technical direction and expertise for BI projects. Are you a subject matter expert in the ambulatory care application, eClinical works V9 (new Meaningful Use version)? The preferred candidate will function as a resource and mentor for the Senior Systems Analyst in software development, particularly in the analysis and design according to departmental needs of technical specifications, coding, testing and implementation of existing and new enhanced functionality delivered in  eClinical Works V9.

Knowledge Management Analyst

We’re seeking a Knowledge Management Analyst to take responsibility and accountability for the creation of monitoring, measurement, evaluation and improvement analysis and reporting to the satisfaction of internal and external customers.  As directed by the Director, Knowledge Management Committee, and Operations management, creates measurement, analysis and reporting applications including dashboards, alerts and reports. This position is responsible for collaborative action in systems design and implementation, information systems operations, and providing support to a variety of special projects.

 Knowledge, Education and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience with analysis of health care data, both administrative and clinical data, understanding of medical terminology, coding, administrative data, processes
  • Experience in statistics, analysis and information presentation, Pull data from different databases to analyze Quality Metrics (ie: patient safety indicators, core measures)
  • Experience in operations and data system access/analysis.
  • Proficient in ACCESS, SQL and EXCEL functions.
  • RN with Nursing Informatics background or strong clinical background preferred.

Citrix Systems Admin

Be the Citrix technical lead and cross train your peers in this skill set.  The primary task of the Citrix Systems Administrator is the daily administration of production Citrix XenApp 6.0 farm. We have approximately 40 Citrix servers running on Windows 2008 R2 servers in a virtualized environment. The Citrix Systems Admin will report to the Manager of Systems Administrators who has responsibility over all systems administrations tasks.  The Citrix Systems Admin will need to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with end users, peers and managers. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an environment of rapidly changing priorities. The Citrix Systems Admin will participate in a weekly on-call off-hours rotation. May be asked perform other duties as assigned and travel may be occasionally required.

 BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Education/Training:  

  • Minimum of 4 years Citrix System Admin experience (including internship experience)
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years)

 Skill(s): 

  • Must have extensive experience with Citrix XenApp 6.0 in a production environment.
  • Must have experience with Windows Server R2 in a production environment.
  • Must have strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Must have above average diagnostic skills and an active passion to learn.
  • KVM experience a plus.

Systems Administrator Team Lead

We’re seeking a Linux System Administrator Team Lead to manage a team of Linux and Windows systems administrators.  This team’s primary task is the day to day running of production systems. These systems consist of Linux servers, Windows servers and a Citrix farm in a KVM / VMware virtualized environment with a NetApp SAN.  The primary Linux OS is Redhat (Cent OS), the primary Windows OS is 2008 R2 Advanced and the primary Citrix configuration is XenApp 6.0. The Linux System Administrator Team Lead will report to the Sr. Director of IT who has responsibility over all engineering aspects of the companies systems. The SA Lead will need to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with end users, peers and managers, working closely with the Architecture and Development teams to keep all systems running at optimal levels. Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in an environment of rapidly changing priorities. Will be required to manage and participate in a weekly on-call off-hours rotation. May be asked perform other duties as assigned and travel may be occasionally required.

 Basic Requirements:

 Education/Training:

  • 8 years total Systems Admin experience (including internship experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years)

 Skill(s): 

  •  Must have extensive experience with Linux in a production environment.
  • Must have experience with Windows Server 2008 and 2003 in a production environment.
  • Must have the ability to manage a team of five systems administrators effectively.

The Business Intelligence Analyst role is to strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out BI solutions to end users. The Business Intelligence Analyst is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related major

• Minimum of 5 years direct work experience working with BI technologies, in specific Business Objects

• Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling.

• Experience with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses, such as MS SQL Server, Crystal, ERP, etc.

• Expertise in Business Objects tools, such as Scheduler, Designer, Data Integrator, and BO Universe design.

• Demonstrated ability with MS Windows, UNIX, AIX, and operating systems.

• Demonstrated ability with ETL tools.

• Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications.

• Full project management and development life cycle experience.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
